The Longs Peak Energy Conservation, a division of the Boulder County Housing Authority, is making available to homeowners, who do not live with the city limits of either Boulder or Longmont, low interest loans to repair/replace septic systems. These loans can also be used to make health and safety repairs to
domiciles. The repairs that qualify include: re-roofing, furnace replacement, flooring, gutters, door/window repairs or replacements, insulation upgrades, plumbing and electrical updates. Other health, safety, or energy conservation retrofits could also qualify!
The interest rates on the loans (up to $25,000) would range from one to three percent. Applicants must meet the following household income guidelines: one person - $44,800 per year: two people - $51,200; three people - $57,600; four people -$64,000; more than four people, add $6,400 for each person.
