On Tuesday and Wednesday, June 16 and 17, Boulder County will accept applications for distribution of available Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers for the first time since 2008. Increased Enforcement Of Off-leash Regulations

The City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Department will increase enforcement of new Voice and Sight Tag Program changes that went into effect on Jan. 1. The changes require off-leash dogs to visibly display current blue Voice and Sight Tags, which demonstrate their guardians have complied with new program requirements. Prescribed burn completed at Heil Valley Ranch

The prescribed burn at Heil Valley Ranch Open Space has been completed and the park is now open. Park visitors are required to stay on trail in the burn area. There are signs indicating the section of the Ponderosa Loop that is on-trail use only. Crews will remain on site 24/7 for mop up and monitoring through Sunday, November 2.
