Nonprofit human services agencies and housing authorities may now apply for a special round of Worthy Cause funding for capital projects that would provide permanently supported housing units in Boulder County.
Boulder County has a lack of affordable housing, high-cost rental housing, and ranks second to Denver in the region in its population of chronically homeless individuals. The Boulder County ten-year plan to end homelessness identified the need for at least one hundred new units of permanently supportive housing units to help address housing and supportive services for this population.

The City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Department will increase enforcement of new Voice and Sight Tag Program changes that went into effect on Jan. 1. The changes require off-leash dogs to visibly display current blue Voice and Sight Tags, which demonstrate their guardians have complied with new program requirements. Previously issued green tags are no longer valid.
