How long were you gone
From the corner of my eye?
And then came back
Full of wrath
And evil words

Where did you go

To celebrate her accomplishment, she and a friend have decided to paddle their sea kayaks on a 1200-mile journey through the Inside Passage to Alaska. Grace Ellen Snyder was born to a Pioneer farm family on March 30, 1928, near Berthoud, CO. Grace was the fifth child of nine to bless this family. Here, she raised five of their six children, hauling water, and with no electricity for several years. They lived here until 1960, when they moved into the Town of Lyons, where they finished raising their family. Grace

That was a great rain Saturday evening, and nice to have. Luckily there was not much hail or a tornado with it. We lucked out. I hear over TV that the roofers swarmed into Windsor and Erie on Sunday morning, all trying to get the most jobs. By the signs around town, about two-dozen roofing companies swarmed into Lyons last month, each telling you “they are the best.” How do we know! According to the TV, you should get three bids for replacing your roof, do not pay ahead, and make sure you get a good job.
Tuesday was National Night Out with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office holding their annual crime and

There have been some interesting and spectacular bird sightings down at the Clarifier Project, across the pedestrian bridge from the Black Bear parking lot. Birders, like the Such family (parents Dave and Renee, and sons Marcel and Joel), and other local artists like Cathie Holm have reported sighting
