Watch Out For A Change To The Social Security COLA Index

As we get closer to the “fiscal cliff” more politicians have been discussing how to reduce the coming crushing burden of entitlements.  Of course, most of those in Congress do not want to be the ones who actually cut anything for fear of losing votes. But one way they can reduce social security payments without calling it a cut, is to change how social security payments are indexed to inflation.

A sad week with twenty children and six adults shot in an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. What is this world coming to?  Bless them all, Lord!

Patricia Ann Malone, 73, of Lyons died November 29, 2012 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.

She was born September 28, 1939 in Akron, Ohio to Arthur C. and Ruth (Buttriss) Poe.

Her father’s work in education took the family to such varied locations as La Push, Washington, American Samoa, and Pensacola, Florida.  Her lifelong love of horses began at Holland
