That was a great rain Saturday evening, and nice to have. Luckily there was not much hail or a tornado with it. We lucked out. I hear over TV that the roofers swarmed into Windsor and Erie on Sunday morning, all trying to get the most jobs. By the signs around town, about two-dozen roofing companies swarmed into Lyons last month, each telling you “they are the best.” How do we know! According to the TV, you should get three bids for replacing your roof, do not pay ahead, and make sure you get a good job.

A friend said she and her children recently spent four hours at the Longmont Museum’s BUILD! The Amazing World of LEGO exhibit without tiring or getting bored. A fan of the creative toy, from the time our boys were young, I decided to check it out.
