July 9, 1927 – August 29, 2013
Joan Elizabeth House passed away August 29, in Greeley surrounded by her family. Joan was born July 9, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to John J. Kelly and Rosa Freund Kelly. Joan graduated from Lyons High School and Barnes Business College. She married Bobby E. House on June 20, 1948 in Boulder, Colorado, and just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. They have lived in Loveland since 1958.
Joan enjoyed bowling, sewing, playing bridge, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Bobby E. House of Loveland, daughters Susan Rounds and Sandra (John) Harding of Loveland, son Shawn House of Loveland, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Mary Annetta House.
There will be a rosary and viewing held from 4 to 7 p.m., on Thursday September 5, at the Viegut funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, September 6, at St. Johns the Evangelist in Loveland. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, in care of Joan House to Viegut funeral home.

Another week gone by. A little cooler now, but a hundred degrees in midweek. School has started and seems to be going well. Big plans are being made for this Friday’s first game, September 6, with the annual BBQ from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by the football game versus Yuma at 7 p.m. The entire community is invited to take part in this annual event.
