Pauline Ward, age 81, of Lyons, died peacefully on Sunday, May 20, at The Peaks Care Center in Longmont. She was born on September 29, 1930 to William and Jessie Benoit in Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland, Canada. On July 17, 1961, she married Earl Ward in Raton, New Mexico.
Pauline traveled throughout Europe extensively before coming to the United States in her 30’s, and settled in Oregon, where she worked as a nanny and telephone operator at an army base before moving to Colorado.
