Grace Ellen Snyder French

Grace Ellen Snyder was born to a Pioneer farm family on March 30, 1928, near Berthoud, CO.  Grace was the fifth child of nine to bless this family.  Her young life was spent on the family farm, learning the lessons of this hard life, in preparation for the eventual large family that she raised.  Grace met and married the love of her life, George Harvic French, and they married in Boulder, on April 27, 1944.  George and Grace lived on a farm North of Hygiene until 1949, when they relocated to West of Lyons.  Here, she raised five of their six children, hauling water, and with no electricity for several years. They lived here until 1960, when they moved into the Town of Lyons, where they finished raising their family.  Grace
