Larimer County Natural Resources Adds Tipi Camping at Flatiron Reservoir

Campers visiting Flatiron Reservoir southwest of Loveland can now spend the night in a tipi. Must See Attractions For Out-of-Town Guests

Roads Traveled with Linda L. Osmundson
One summer we entertained six groups of visitors. We put two couples on the plane in which my in-laws arrived. I had no time to even change the sheets. We toured Colorado’s Front Range six times. With that in mind, what do you want your visitors to experience while in the Front Range area? Here are some suggestions for day trips.

Central City Opera

Roads Traveled with Linda L. Osmundson

Gowned debutants glide down staircases located between the Teller and Opera houses. Eureka Street closes between 4:45 and 6 p.m. A string quartet provides the music for the father/daughter street dance to “Yellow Rose Waltz.”

The ship docked along the street in Puerto Vallarta on Thursday at 8 a.m. The cruise line offered plenty of excursions to fill the two days in port; from city highlights, to swimming with dolphins, or horseback riding. Our Jazzdagen group planned an excursion of its own.

A bus provided transportation for our group to lunch in a restaurant known to be safe, the Rivercafe. The group spent midday in the casual

Traveling In Luxury – Mazatlan Part VII

Roads Traveled by Linda L. Osmundson

I decorated for Christmas early since our cruise began on December 4, and I’d have no time once we returned two weeks later to get ready for the holiday. Upon boarding our Holland America ship in San Diego I felt a sense of disappointment that it was not decorated for Christmas. Imagine my surprise upon stepping from my stateroom on our sixth day at sea (December 10) to discover a fairyland of Christmas
