Today, people have become accustomed to shopping at department stores for a sweater, or at a hardware store for a new door hinge. Long ago, these items would have been made at home using skills not widely practiced today.
Join Boulder County staff and volunteer craftsmen and women to celebrate traditional arts and crafts associated with rural life.
We have a few new activities this year!
- Enjoy an ice cream social from 2-3pm
- Bee Keeping
- Cheese making
- And several “make and take” activities as well.

- log hewing
- wool spinning and knitting
- soap making
- bucket making (cooperage)
- Candle dipping

Free for all ages, no pets permitted.
When you visit the Agricultural Heritage Center you get a glimpse into the history of agriculture in this area and a chance to enjoy the rural surroundings.
