Mickey Hawkins

Lyons High School Class of 1969 graduate Mickey Hawkins, the son of Robert N. Hawkins of Denver, and Gloria D. Hawkins of Lyons enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps on March 24, 1969 in Denver. PFC Hawkins arrived in Vietnam on September 24, and was assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st MARDIV (Rein) FMF.

Donald A. Johnson, age 56, passed away at his home in Lyons, on May 18, of heart failure.
