Kenneth Charles Grobaski

Kenneth Charles Grobaski of Lyons died Tuesday, June 9, in Boulder. He was 44.

Born on July 8, 1970 to Jim and Marti Grobaski in Jamestown, New York, Ken was raised in upstate New York, graduating from Randolph Central School in 1988, in Randolph, New York. There he excelled as a student and athlete. He was a letterman in basketball, cross-country, and track, where he still holds the school record in two relay events.

Leroy Robert York

Leroy Robert York, 75, passed away peacefully on May 1, in Pueblo. He was born June 4, 1939 in Waukegan, Illinois to Robert and Amanda (Pritzl) York.  On February 14, 1958 he married Jenny (DeYoung) York in McHenry, Illinois. Roy and his family moved to Lyons, in 1969.

Opal Bryan

Opal B. Bryan, 87, of Lyons passed away on Friday, March 20, at Life Care Center of Longmont. She was born May 20, 1927 in Guthrie Center, IA to Ellis and Minnie (Hoepner) Brady. Opal married Melvin N. Bryan on February 17, 1951 in Audubon, IA.  They moved to Longmont, in 1952, and then to Lyons, in 1955. Opal was a member of the Lyons Methodist Church.
