The Stone Cup & Kitchen continues their free summer weekend musical brunch series throughout the month of June. This Saturday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., it’s modern country music with Longmont singer/songwriter Treena McCurdy. On Sunday, June 16, from 9 a.m. to noon, it’s the “fiddling star” Teddy Carr.
The following weekend, Jordan Avery Mestas will be playing on Saturday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Sunday, June 23, relax, sip on a Mimosa or a Bloody Sam, perhaps grab a little brunch, and enjoy the eclectic, lyrical jazz-rock-folk fusion of Aural Elixir, aka Jesse
Maclaine as she play the rich sonic textures of New Orleans for your listening pleasure.
Local favorites Enion Pelta-Tiller (of Taarka) and Sara Hart will play classical music for violin and viola at The Cup on Saturday, June 29, from 11a.m. to 1p.m. No better way to relax during the busy Good Old Days weekend celebration, than sitting on Lyons’ “front porch” with a classic breakfast and a cup of your favorite stimulant.
The next morning, Sunday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to noon Sam and Mindy welcome back the “fiddling star” Teddy Carr. As LaVern would say, “All are welcome. Plan to attend.”
