Sly & The Family Stone weren’t singing the praises of the Meckle family in 1971 when they recorded their number one hit, but they could have been. Earlier this year in March, Dr. Joseph Meckle, D.C., who has had a chiropractic practice here in Lyons for nearly thirty years, had the honor of watching his two daughters, Carly and Jenny, graduate from the Palmer Chiropractic College in Florida.
The young women, both graduates of Lyons High School (Carly in 2002, and Jenny in 2005) received their Bachelor of Science Degrees from Colorado State University in Fort Collins in 2009.
