We are pleased to announce that local award-winning photographer (and former Board of Trustees member), Ed Bruder, has five of his photos hanging in the State Capitol. Two of the photos (one of fireworks after the annual Christmas
Parade and the other of downtown Lyons at sunset) are hanging just to the right of the entrance to the rotunda, and the other three (a shot of a young biker at Lyons Outdoor Games, another of a large group of bike racers, and the third of a youngster enjoying some tubing in the St. Vrain River) hang prominently in the Lt. Governors Office, behind the conference table across from his desk! Bruder was told that the Lt. Governor specifically chose those three, out of all the entrants, to adorn his office walls. Bruder wants to extend his thanks to all the people who helped make this exhibition about life in Lyons possible, and says that there will be an opening scheduled sometime in the future.
