The Old Firehouse Art Center in Longmont (667 4th Ave.) presents “Precarious Connections.” The exhibit, which runs from March 11 to April 15, features paintings,
mixed media, and mosaics. Besides the work of artists Betony Coons of Greeley, Ginger Knowlton of Boulder, and Mimi Farrelly and Susan Wechsler, both of Longmont,;the Members Gallery will feature pen and ink drawings by Nate Russell of Lyons. Russell is a Colorado native who studied at Western State. He has been drawing since he was a child, when he began mimicking his favorite comic book artists. Most of his works are black and white drawings with washes of color.
