Here it is the beginning of September; fall is here, it is getting dark sooner, and at least the nights will be cooler. It was truly a hot summer, sixty-three days with the temperature over 90! The hottest ever! We hope to get some rain this fall, and the leaves will be turning.

A VERY BUSY WEEK WENT BY AND WE ALL MADE IT!

Yes, another hot week gone by, but luckily a little rain.  The cornfields are drying up, but they say there is a good wheat crop. What will the farmers do when they have to borrow money for seed, and then don’t have a crop? It is a dire situation. Let it rain!
