A TERRIBLE WEEK
It has finally quit raining and hailing, however, the big two-inch hailstones seemed to have affected all our roofs again (the last big hailstorm was June 28, 2013). Now roofing contractors are again converging on our town to get business.

All turned out well at the Lyons High School graduation last Saturday morning with thirty-nine seniors receiving their diplomas. Another week gone by, some nice days, but it’s still raining. We are susceptible to uncomfortable memories, and although the river rose to over 1400 cubic feet per second, it was much, much higher during the flood! True, it is scary, though.
