Yes, another hot week gone by, but luckily a little rain. The cornfields are drying up, but they say there is a good wheat crop. What will the farmers do when they have to borrow money for seed, and then don’t have a crop? It is a dire situation. Let it rain!
A good weekend gone by and with rain! They say an inch of rain is worth a billion dollars, and I believe it. The TV said it will start to rain in Lyons, at 5:22 p.m., and it did! It came down fast and furious, cars were stopped, 1-25 was closed, etc., but it was worth it. Whee! That heat got to us! Sad to say, it came a month too late, and would have stopped the rash of wildfires
