What a weekend! The Festival was full with crowds pouring over onto the streets, alleys, etc. wherever they could squeeze in, instead of going to the Festival Parking. However, the music was great, and the town took in a fair amount of sales tax and camping/parking fees so maybe it is a trade off. A great week gone by. No doubt you’ve noticed the traffic jams in Lyons on the weekends when the tourists are all headed for Estes Park. If it were not for the stoplight on Main Street we could never get from one side of town to the other. The light was put in about fifty years ago, and has well served its purpose.
