Another week gone by, and great weather. It gave folks time to cut their grass, plant some flowers, etc. We had a pretty nice rain, causing the grass to green and the flowers to bloom. Let’s enjoy this nice spring weather while we can.

Another week gone by with a nice rain or two. The river seems to be holding in its banks. There are sandbags along the banks at Third and Fourth Avenue, but the water hasn’t gotten that far up yet. There is a little over 1000 cfs of runoff in the river now, and during the flood there was 30,000! Wow. We are truly lucky to be alive!

Sunday was Mothers’ Day and although cold and snowy, I am sure you all had time to remember your mother, for all she has done for you. A plant, dinner, corsage, drive, church, etc., no doubt made her proud that you were hers.
