It is supposed to snow again this week and again next week. Although not a lot of snow, it gives us some needed moisture. There is a drought in Texas and other states, so be glad when we get some snow. The winds of over 100 mph last week did damage to trees, fences, and roofs, etc. At least it got rid of all that ice, which is the most we can say for it.
A VACATION DAY to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, a pioneer for civil rights, parades, a day off, and all. We honor him. Another cold day, with more snow; although not a lot of snow, we are reminded that winter is still here. The days are getting longer though, so spring is just around the corner!

I just saw an ad for an elegant place to spend New Year’s Eve: the Stanley Hotel. Food and event costs $169 per person, or $495 for dinner, event, and guest room: a great place to take your “Better Half”! Call (970) 577-4040.
