Great Roads To Great Chefs

If you love dining in fine restaurants and enjoying the wonderful foods great chefs prepare, The Stanley Hotel is launching a new culinary series, Great Roads to Great Chefs. This eleven weekend series will feature the nation’s most promising chefs, the

majority of who come from Colorado. They have invited the Chefs in Residence to put their skills to the test in an intimate restaurant setting. The series will occur in the Stanley’s new restaurant, Table, which will be held at The Lodge, right next door to the main building on The Stanley property. Each chef will prepare a five-course meal, with wine pairings, plus hold a reception for a very limited group of twenty guests per night. A portion of the proceeds from the event series will benefit the flood relief funds at the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado. Grants from these funds are supporting local nonprofit agencies and governmental entities in their work to meet the needs of those impacted by the floods in Larimer County

The public is warmly invited to join in for the first dinners on Friday, January 31, or Saturday, February 1, with Chef Ian Kleinman who is with the Denver-based The Inventing Room and “The Denver Five.”  He is truly a scientist among chefs. Molecular gastronomy, Kleinman’s focus, is the interface where food meets science. Diners describe his meals as nothing short of magic. At The Inventing Room, Kleinman believes “every dining experience should have amazing food, drinks, and service, but should also contain an entertainment quality that makes you think about your food instead of just eating it.”

Seats for these unique events are filling quickly! To make a reservation and/or to find more information on the other Chefs in Residence who are scheduled for this series (listed below), please check the website, or call (970) 577-4160.

As an added special offer, if you bring a copy of your evening’s receipt to any subsequent Estes Park Music Festival concert, you will receive a complimentary ticket to a future 2013-2014 EPMF Winter Series concert (your choice) for each meal purchased in the “Great Roads to Great Chefs” series.
