Three Flood Recovery Events coming to Allenspark

Flood Recovery Information Meetings at the Fire Department Community Room
Speakers from US Forest Service, the National Resources Conservation Services (which cleared out and stabilized streams, ANEN (the Allenspark Neighors Emergency Network) and Colorado Spirit Flood Recovery will be presenting a program on 1] the Timeline and impact of the floods, 2] what the recovery effort has

achieved so far, 3] what recovery efforts are going to be made in the coming months and years, and 4] preparedness and resiliency on Tuesday, June 24, at 7 pm at the Community Room in the Allenspark Fire Department. Summer and seasonal residents will be given a chance to catch up, and permanent residents will have a chance to ask questions and talk to representatives of agencies and organizations. Community Cares Flood Storytelling
Do you want a chance to talk about and share your experiences and reactions to the floods, then or now? All residents are invited to attend a story sharing event at the Hilltop Guild's Kelley House on Wednesday, June 25, at 6:30 p.m. Colorado Spirit will facilitate the meetings, which will happen again on Thursday, July 25 at 4 pm, and on Tuesday, August 26.

Flood Open Mics
