On a bitterly cold and snowy night, when everyone would have probably preferred to have been at home in front of a crackling fireplace watching American Idol, or even a bunch of talking heads pontificating
about Tuesday night’s State of the Union Address, the Lyons Board of Trustees (BOT) held a special meeting Monday evening to listen, discuss, and give direction to Housing Recovery Task Force Chairman Jeff Cornell, and do the same with Town Administrator Victoria Simonsen concerning CDBG-DR (Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Relief) priorities and unmet needs.
Cornell gave the Trustees an overview of what his Task Force has been up to, and informed the Board of some of the deadlines they are up against as far as grant applications, etc.
